Join Army Cadets

What are you doing this weekend?  Become part of the 676…

The Army Cadet program is open to all young people between the ages of 12 and 18.  The 676 Lorne Scots Cadet Corp meet every Wednesday night (6:45pm to 9:15pm) from September to June, at the Georgetown Armoury located at 91 Todd Rd, Georgetown, Ontario.  We also offer numerous activities on weekends throughout the program year.  New cadets and their parents are welcome to visit any Wednesday from the first Wednesday after Labour Day until until April 15, and see first hand what our program has to offer.

There are open houses and information sessions for parents and interested future cadets the first 3 Wednesdays after Labour day at the Col J. R. Barber ED. CD. Armoury in Georgetown.  The information sessions start at 7:15 pm

Come out and see what we are all about

To become part of the 676, head over to our national site and complete the registration form.  Once submitted, come out on the following Wednesday night.

Join Cadets!

Remember, there is no cost to join, and uniforms are provided for free.  Also, there is absolutely no requirement for cadets to join the Canadian Forces.

Participation in cadet events qualifies for Ontario high school community hours.

Exciting Opportunities for Big Kids

The 676 can only offer its exciting and challenging program because of the work by its core of dedicated Officers, Staff and the 676 Support Committee.

We can offer hardworking and motivated adults the opportunity to become part of an exciting and growing group in Georgetown.  We can make use of your skills and energy.   You can become heavily involved or contribute occasionally.  There are opportunities to become Officers, Civilian Instructors (CI), Civilian Volunteers (CV) and to participate in the Support Committee.  Each position has its own challenges and rewards, and is certain to offer activities not likely found in the other areas of your life.

The 676 Public Affairs Officer would be happy to discuss what we are all about.
